The golden hours

Here i am typing some blog entry because i am... emotionally unstable. In the next few hours i will be leaving the beloved msa for good. I have been surrounded with gorgeous brilliant girls and boys for the past 3 weeks and now i need to leave them behind. I baked few batch of cookies for my grade 4 girls yesterday. I am blissful to know that they enjoy munching the chocolate chips bites but melancholic enough when i need to bid my goodbye.

11:30 AM, MSA lobby.
Handling Kyla Gani, Aurelia, and Odelia some chocolate chips after their extra class.

"So jie jie won't meet you again then..."
"When are you coming back?"
"Next year probably..."
"Thats long!"
"Hey i haven't take pictures of you girls!"
"Sure"

Captured two pictures the girls posing with their choco chips. I surely will miss them. Like totally will miss Kyla's super classy accent of speaking. Odelia's clumsiness which is overrated. Aurelia's honey-taste like smile. These girls are the biggie fan of bath&body works hand sanitizer. 3 packs of the limited edition in Kyla's pencil case. I remember spotting the 'sweet pea' something scene (pink bottle).

I will soon bid another set of good bye to Angella and Joycellyn. I did join them playing around inside the class during the lunch break. Just watching them running here and there, pulling one another, shouting like there is no other days. I was eating when suddenly i heard girls voice shouting my name "cici michel... cici michel..." from the hallway. Then I know its Angela's voice, no further thought but join her to play. Pinky promised here that I will be back soon because I need to close my lunch box and grab my phone to capture here. Unfortunately picture isn't that successful (asjdhsjhdldjlsjd). Soon the bell rang and I need to wave them good-bye since they are starting their science quiz. I will miss them and may be one day I will see them again but no longer in a cutie pie face. Be blessed, little boys and girls!

Now I need to say my goodbye to few other loved souls.
Dear Lord strengthen me. 4 days to go.

Nutella and Banana

    Its August. Already.

By the time i typed this post, it means i am 18 years young already (i dislike saying 'years old' because the fact is i am still young by heart and soul). Nothing too much of me turning 18, just a family dinner at The Peak. Dad was supposedly to be away on that month for business trip but he sweetly returned back to Jakarta for my birthday. Thus mother without any further plan booked a few nights stay at Padma, Bandung. We visited Padma back then when its name is still Malya. The serenity stays the same about this place. How old again am I when I came there? I still played around during the Sunday club making bunny shaped chocolate but not this time. The 18th years-young me preferred reading books by the pool side accompanied by the breathtaking view in front  of me.

Speaking as a committee for 2011-2012 annual sports day for MSA, I treasured a handful of joy. I highly saluted leaders and co-leaders of each team handling their own kiddos. Since I am working with the kindergarten teachers, they are very much enthusiast although complains from each team teacher PIC and parents were endless. Not to mention, the head of committee this year, John The Wise, is as always wise to keep the team united. Yes, the fun between being the committee and the team leader speaks a different genre but if I need to choose one, I shall speak being a team member is way more awesome. Above all, starting from being the mighty green, yellow team, and lastly blue team... I am proudly saying I cherish every moment of it.

We are one

"the chubby small eyes people"
(Febe and I, pictured by Derry)

I was just wondering (in the midst of exam days), does unity really require a sacrifice? Is it really a must that a united class required a tear drops of our loved one? Tomorrow is the last battle of the seniors, the question is "Are we glued enough after a year of togetherness?"

with full force ready for last battle ,

Could It be Love

Inspired by a song for my title, I somehow need to list down few little un-living things that make me cheerful. Well, please bear in mind stuffs listed below are just additional ingredients to my oh-awe-some life. In addition, some captivating stuffs below, I even haven’t own or even touch it (yet) but oh well I always adore the magic of pictures these days especially in Instagram. So let’s list my lovelings.

1. Candles

Since the very beginning of 2012, my study time (9PM-1AM) has always been accompanied by scented candles. I used to have aromatherapy heated by usual candle but please the beauty of sparkling flame has always cheered me up when I do my accounting calculation. The best one I can get in Indonesia is only Yankee’s candles which also have fewer varieties in compare to Saltskin & co from States.  Currently, I am in deep relationship with the scent from Yankee’s Beach Flowers. It is just feminine in scent.

2. Flowers

I have a deep conviction that all ladies should love flowers, period. The dining table at home has been decorated with flowers since last month. Inspiring books about flowers arrangement, websites and blogs; they are indirectly forcing me to turn my bedroom into a garden. Interestingly, when I google the top most favorite flower type these days guess what it peonies! One word for peonies, you are fluffily beautiful.

3.  Scrapbook

The scrap and the book, I found myself into them since last four years ago but back then in Indonesia the most complete scrapbook store was in Bandung unlike now. Yes, it is painful for my tiny fingers to cut gazillion of papers but I am inseparable with the colored papers. I have vowed to myself last week that my future home should and must have scrapbook studio. Good kitchen is second priority after scrapbook studio. Duh! If only I can bring the whole stocks of papers, cut outs, rub-on, stickers, ribbons and paper cutters back home all at once.

4. Books

Due to the hectic senior years, I have deferred my gratification to pause my reading habits. It is just extreme once I am into one book, I can spend the whole night up to 3 AM just to finish it without noticing I have class tomorrow. This never sounds safe and sound for a school hours. For Easter break, Fitria Yusuf’s book regarding H Temptation is enough to entertain my on-my-break soul. Imagine I need to leave Kinokuniya without Hunger Games book series. Sorry, but my soul cried for good. Fall in love with Fifi Lapin’s newest book but still deferred my gratification for now.

5.  Classic design

These days coffee house and restaurants have been going through the era of minimalist design. Those bird cages hanging around the pancake house in Bandung, white framed papers making collages on the wall, and even just a simple tea cup set or cake stands. I am still crossing my fingers to get the sundae cup set in Aksara. Honestly, I have no idea what will I do with it once I bring those babies home it’s just I want them to be my property (pardon me).

farewell to Easter break ,

It has been ages since my last post still I wont ramble much about the reasons. Two months away from graduation, like how the world pronounces it: cherish every moment of your life.
