Rooted on A Summer Day

What a soul soothing sermon I received yesterday during the Sunday service and it was all about roots. Just like these beauties, because they are rooted on a healthy ground then they all can be bear such an enchanting flowers. I don't understand much regarding cultivating the earthly soil but one thing I am sure of I can only find my strong healthy soil in His name. When I base my root on my situation, on my surrounding... how I realise that my flowers won't be everlasting.

"And so with the sunshine and the great bursts of leaves growing on the trees, just as things grow in fast movies, I had the familiar conviction that life was beginning over again with the summer."

Travel Diary: Brisbane

A scintilla of my travel diary (well very much overdue) Brisbane trip last winter. The city, the sky and the serene surroundings... you are greatly missed. After all what matter most is not the place but the company. Pa Ma, Elle misses you.

Travel Diary: Hang Zhou

A month ago I took an impromptu decision to buy a train ticket to hang zhou and guess what I didn't regret it at all. It was just a 3 days trip and that cheeky girl in the picture above accompanied me for the whole trip, nyaww nyaww thank you Cyn! Glad that asides of hopping here and there we managed to find some quality time to fellowship together and strengthening one another. The city is way greener than Beijing or may be its just my heart that says so?

The Voice of My Note

I can never leave house without my little memo and a pair of pen and highlighter because there are days worth to note down and one of it is this one:
Beijing 7PM, 19th April 2015

It's a cloudy day yet thank God no pollution. Its spring already glad to have this orange sky by 7PM. Currently I’m on my bus ride, 110, back home from church. Zhong guan cun area over looking giants company like weibo, qq, sina’s office buildings but in the middle of all I saw a Cross of Haidian Church. Lord, thank you for giving me this very opportunity to live a life in Beijing tanpa kekurangan apapun; very supportive parent and all my IC Beijing family. Lord I am speechless. Everyday you give me present. A gift just like the clip shown today at church. Kadang Elle gak sadar how much gifts God has been giving, Lord. Thank you Jesus for all the blessings even when it comes in disguise.

These past 35 days in Beijing has not been that easy for me. Often I fell, fell and fell. I have not really get up and stand but then I found myself fell again to the ground. But this song just reminds me that for most of the time His blessings do come in disguise. Beijing, I better cherish you before its too late.

'Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if the thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know You're near
What if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

To Live Passionately

And as I begin to type this blog post, saya sedang menikmati ice cream favorit saya yaitu rasa macadamia nut.

Banyak yang digumuli, or what my little sister will define as my galau moment. Pertamanya saya pikir 2 bulan pas banget kalau bisa dapet magang yang ok di Jakarta but as mom mentioned it’s better to get creative and start my own business or helps on the family’s one.

1. Bright Eyes by Brea Salim
2. Beasiswa 5 Benua by Ahmad Faudi
3. Travel Young by Alanda Kariza
4. Dream Catcher by Alanda Kariza

“If God allows, I would really love to be United Nation ambassador from Indonesia with a greater concern on education development and the role of young generation in today’s world”

Kalau boleh memilih pastinya I want to rewind time ke masa-masa aku ditanya orang tua “Jadi mau kuliah di bagian apa?” 3 tahun lalu rasanya masih gak jelas mau sekolah apa, suka apa, sekolah dimana but if you ask me now I know I would love to be in international relation and diplomacy major. Banyak impian di tahun 2015 but at the end of the day, the question is not about what I want but what God wants me to do. That's just it, because deep down in my heart I know each steps I took itu benar-benar out of His grace. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me this year and for the rest of my life. Live passionately for His glory.
